LOVE ALIVE. Summer is a busy time for all of us and the season seems to move too fast. As we pause and reflect on summer at New Hope we are in awe of the good that Christ can do through each of us. It's been a perfect picture of Christ's love, alive in each of us, and shared with others. We're grateful and in awe of that love. The last three weeks have seen God working through NH children, students, and adults... on campus, in our community, and over 2000 miles away in Colombia. This church... dozens and dozens of individuals have stepped up, people have served in our daycamps, local mission projects for families/local schools, and an overseas mission project. People have given generously and graciously to ministry and mission projects and given to help resource the mission of this church. We're thankful for the serving spirit of this church. We're thankful that we continue to be a church on mission to transform lives through Jesus Christ! What a summer it's been! #lovealive

COLOMBIA / LOVE ALIVE UPDATE 🇨🇴🙏 + repost from Andrea Fisher Our final full day in Medellin: We took a cable car to go to a tour of Comuna 13 which was the most dangerous neighborhood in Medellin but now is famous for its graffiti (and escalators!); the graffiti symbolizes its history as well as the hope it has-very cool place! Then we went to a finca owned by the Confra (prison ministry) to see a major project in the works for juvenile prisoners to serve their time in group homes farming avocados for the purpose of reformation and transformation. After that, we went to the home of Confra’s leader for a barbecue-we had some great food while listening to a great story of how God is working through this ministry to bring reformation and reconciliation in Colombia-God is doing great things in this ministry and this country!!

UPDATE COLUMBIA / LOVE ALIVE The NHC/Infuse team spent time at the NGO Confraternidad Carcelaria de Colombia to learn about the ministry programs they have for prisoners and their families. They are doing some amazing work in this country for reconciliation and restoration among Colombian families and communities. They had an event with children of prisoners and our team was able to participate! Our teens loved it!! NEW HOPE CHURCH SUPPORTS THIS MINISTRY TOO... through our church support, CCC is able to provide services for 20 children in Choco. We were able to see pictures of the kids supported by NHC! Great day of serving and sharing God's love in many ways! #lovealive

COLOMBIA / LOVE ALIVE update The NH/Infuse team's experience in Medellin, Colombia has been an amazing blessing. The setting is beautiful, our hosts have been incredibly welcoming, the experiences by our Infuse students are creating lasting memories... we rejoice in seeing them "go and serve" others on another continent! The team is working hard and serving with love and gratefulness!🙏🇨🇴 #lovealive

THIS is what serving others for Christ looks like. 🙏 STARS Day Camp is truly a one of a kind camp in that it's primarily led by high school students... and has been for many years. The dedication, passion, creativity, encouragement, leadership, and LOVE that these fine students embody is a reflection of their living as followers of Christ! This is a special week for the children of the camp, a special week for our Infuse students as they lead camp... and a special week for all of us at New Hope as we see the good things that God is doing through this group! #lovealive

Some of the topics include Government, Politics & Power, Money, Life & Death, and Immigration. You do not need to be a regular attender of New Hope Church or any other church.
